ARKUS & ROMET GROUP has been sponsoring the LKS Iskra Sports Club in Głogoczów for the last 3 seasons. The club riders compete in bicycle races throughout the country using Arkus & Romet group mountain bikes. The achievements of top Club members are possible thanks to both their skills and durability and quality of ARKUS bicycles.
We are proud to take part in building the success of gifted and ambitious bicycling fanatics which is possible thanks to our financial capabilities and top quality of ARKUS & ROMET GROUP bikes.
The Group takes part in many important sports events throughout the country:
- MTB Championships of Poland)
- Skoda Auto Grand Prix MTB international races, a part of Puchar Polski cycle
- Peasants' sports teams Championships of Poland) in Zielona Góra
- Inter-regional championships: małopolska region, podkarpacki region
- Małopolska Region Champinships
Some of the more important
ARKUS & ROMET GROUP achievements made possible by the members of LKS Iskra Club in the 2003 season:
- Bronze medal in Mistrzostwa Polski won by Anna Makuch, one of the best Polish riders, with big chances of start in Athens 2004 Olympic Games, 5th place in final classification of Puchar Polski, 2nd place in Mistrzostwa Polski Ludowych zespołów Sportowych and i Ogólnopolskie Igrzyska LZS, gold medal in Mistrzostwa Małopolski.
- 4th place in Mistrzostwa Polski in "Masters I" category and gold medal in Mistrzostwa Małopolski by Jerzy Mróz.
- 6th place in Mistrzostwa Polski to 23 in "Elite" category, 5th place in Mistrzostwa Polski LZS, gold medal in road cycling, gold medal in cross country, bronze in mountain biking in Mistrzostwa Małopolski by Sabina Tylek.
- 8th place in Mistrzostwa Polski in "Junior" category, silver medal in Mistrzostwa Polski LZS, gold medal in 2 km distance ride, silver in sprint in Mistrzostwa Małopolski in track cycling by Adriana Rzeszutko.
And one more, very important success earned by ARKUS & ROMET GROUP-sponsored LKS Iskra Club - silver in club classification in Mistrzostwa Polski LZS.
