| Jakub Marek I can call the 2006 season good. My aim was preparing for the Family Cup Polish Amateur Championships. With time my shape was getting better and better which enabled getting the championship of Poland. My successes and the achievements of other team members meant virtual domination in Cross Country. 2nd position in general classification of Puchar Smoka (Dragon Cup; category: Junior Starszy); 3rd position in general classification of Puchar Tarnowa (Tarnów city Cup; category: Orlik) or Wicemistrzowstwo Województwa Podkarpackiego (2nd place in Podkarpackie province championships) are just some of my achievements. The most important thing for me is that I competed with the best Polish bikers. My plans for the 2007 season are definitely connected with Mistrzostwa Polski (Championships of Poland), but I would also like to take part in number of bike marathons both in Poland and abroad. |
Grzegorz Matłok Last season meant a lot to me, I significantly improved my skills and as a result I established my position in the discipline. I have had good results from the start, which made an impact on general classification. I am very happy with my results in Bike Marathon in Zawoja - 14th place overall despite poor starting position in the middle of the 600 pack, with over 300 people at short distance. I am also happy with the result in the international gen. Marek Papała marathon in Pruchnik, where I came in 2nd. I was 2nd in general classification of both Puchar Smoka and Puchar Tarnowa. 3rd place in Mistrzostwa Polski Amatorów (Amateur Championships of Poland) in Kielce have been the final statement in the past season. |
Krzysztof Matłok The last season was pretty difficult for me. I had to deal with my bike's technical failures and defects from the very beginning. I had a big accident and suffered seriously to boot, which put me off from cycling for a moment. But apart from these problems I managed to achieve and earn some respect from the rivals. I won: Puchar Smoka (5th edition), Puchar Jasła (Jasło city Cup), gen. Marek Papała marathon in Pruchnik and Mistrzostwo Województwa Podkarpackiego (1st place in Podkarpackie province championships). My main plan for the next season is developing shape as it's the key to success. |
